Modern surveillance demands both breadth and precision — especially when you’re securing larger properties with varied entry points. In this featured project, INTEAX delivers a robust CCTV solution by installing 9 high-definition Hikvision cameras, including a moving (PTZ) camera, to ensure comprehensive coverage and real-time monitoring.

Project Overview

This CCTV installation took place in Bishara Bari, where the client wanted:

• Wider coverage with multiple fixed cameras

• A flexible moving camera for active tracking

• Reliable hardware for both day and night operation

By combining fixed and PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) cameras, this system balances continuous surveillance with dynamic tracking capabilities — ideal for both residential compounds and commercial properties.

Strategic Planning and Camera Placement

Before mounting began, the installation team surveyed the area to identify:

• Main entry and exit points

• Blind spots and vulnerable zones

• Optimal angles for high-traffic paths

This helped determine camera positions that maximize coverage while minimizing overlap. A precise survey also ensures every camera plays a role in the system’s overall effectiveness.

Hardware Selection and Installation

The heart of this setup is Hikvision IP cameras, known for:

• Clear HD resolution

• Night vision performance

• Stable network recording

In this project, nine cameras were installed, each powered and connected via PoE (Power over Ethernet) to simplify wiring and reduce installation complexity.

A key highlight is the moving PTZ camera, which allows an operator or automated system to scan large areas without installing additional stationary units. PTZ cameras can zoom, pan, and tilt, making them perfect for monitoring open fields and shifting attention to areas where motion is detected.
