These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the inteax website, services, and related applications. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. if you do not agree with any part of this policy, please discontinue use of our Services.
1. Agreement to Terms
1.1 These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”) and inteax, operating in Bangladesh.
1.2 By accessing the inteax website and/or services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these Terms.
1.3 if you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue use of the website and services immediately.
1.4 inteax reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Eligibility & Use of Website
2.1 The website is intended for users aged 18 years or above. Users under 18 may use the services only with parental or legal guardian consent.
2.2 The website is intended for residents of Bangladesh only. inteax makes no representation that the content is suitable for use outside Bangladesh.
2.3 You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
3. Acceptable Use Policy
Users must NOT:
- Use the website for unauthorized commercial activities
- Collect or extract data without written permission
- Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or scripts
- Upload viruses, malware, or harmful code
- impersonate another person or entity
- Misrepresent product information, identity, or intent
- Harass, threaten, or abuse inteax staff or other users
- Attempt to access restricted systems or reverse-engineer software
Violation of this policy may result in suspension or permanent termination.
4. User information & Account Responsibility
4.1 You agree that all information provided is accurate, current, and complete.
4.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
4.3 inteax is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized account access due to user negligence.
5. Warranty Policy (Summary)
5.1 All product warranties are manufacturer-provided, not directly by inteax.
5.2 Warranty terms vary by brand and product and are governed by the manufacturer’s official policy.
5.3 inteax acts solely as a facilitator between customers and manufacturers/importers.
5.4 Not all products carry warranty coverage. Warranty applies only where explicitly stated.
5.5 Laptop warranty varies between 1–3 years, while battery and adapter warranty is limited to 1 year.
6. Warranty Service Conditions
- Defective products may be repaired or replaced, depending on availability
- if the same model is unavailable, an equivalent or upgraded product may be offered with price adjustment
- if repair or replacement is not possible, refund may be issued after depreciation
- Warranty processing time may range from 7 to 40 working days or more, depending on parts availability
inteax is not responsible for data loss, software issues, or configuration changes during servicing.
7. Warranty Exclusions
Warranty will be void if damage results from:
- Physical damage, liquid damage, burn, rust, fungus, or misuse
- Missing or damaged serial number or warranty sticker
- Broken or bent CPU/motherboard pins
- Use of non-approved consumables (ink, toner, cartridges)
- BiOS passwords, Apple OS removal, or unauthorized modifications
- Accessories such as printer cartridges, adapters, rollers, drums, cables
Dead pixel claims require minimum 3 visible dead pixels.
8. Lifetime Warranty Clarification
“Lifetime Warranty” means the duration during which the product remains commercially available in the market.
Once a product reaches EOL (End of Life) status, warranty coverage ends.
As per BCS policy, lifetime warranty service is limited to maximum 2 years.
9. Orders, Pricing & Availability
9.1 inteax reserves the right to cancel any order if pricing errors occur due to technical or system issues.
9.2 Product availability, descriptions, and pricing are subject to change without prior notice.
9.3 Orders placed using fake or unverifiable invoices are not the responsibility of inteax.
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1 All services are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.
10.2 inteax shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data or profit.
10.3 Nothing in these Terms limits liability where prohibited by law, including fraud or personal injury due to negligence.
11. Termination
inteax reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account or access without notice if Terms are violated or unlawful activity is detected.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Bangladeshi courts.
